Public Plays

Decided to do some research on the last couple of weeks compared to last season. I am in two pick pools. One we pick 4 games a week and the other we pick 6 both against the spread.

Last season the best week either of the pools hit was 51% in week 2 of the system last year. That week I went 4-6. The average week for the pools (which have 120 members and 72 members) was about 48%.

This year however the 120 member pool hit 58% and 55% while the 72 member pool hit 53% both weeks. Even the guy who runs the 4 game pool said, "this has been a brutal two weeks for the club." (which pays money to anyone who got 4 for 4.) Most of these players pick the big favorites or highly public teams (ranked teams) and those teams are winning.

Everything usually evens out in the end and we still have 10 weeks to go. Good Luck to everyone and thanks for following my blog. Had over 200 hits this weekend. Just wish I could win for you.

Rough Couple Weeks

Ok it has been a rough couple weeks, but I am keeping my head up and trusting in the system. Seems the public has been solid for the last few weeks. With conference games starting soon this is bound to change. Stick with the captain. I will make this a profitable season.
